Did they stop getting truck in or something? Seems pretty stupid that they ran out off all that shit.
There should be a food bank in your area, that will give you emergency supplies. I know theres alot of those around me. Probally all picked through by now though Id guess.

most deliveries were stopped....but here in houston this happens every time we get a hurricane scare i.e. gustav, rita, katrina, ect. but its just thousands of people buyin everything all the gas stations in my area have no gas at all now or ice. havent heard anything about food banks?? but thats a good idea

Oh yeah.... I've seen that before. Like a week and a half ago. That's what our shelves looked like before Gustav. We're gonna get some bad storm surge from Ike this time. Mainly all of the coastal parishes are evacuating, but, everyone else is not worried.

It's not going to be nearly as bad as predicted. This morning they were freaking out saying its going to be a Cat4 by the time it hits land. Just a few hours ago they said its going to barely be a Cat1.
I don't think that wind is going to be a major factor this time. Storm surge is going to be the killer. We already have seas 4 feet above normal on our coast and it's over 100 miles away. I was watching the national news this morning and they had a weather guy in Galveston at the sea wall and it looked really bad already.

I saw where they are rescueing people off rooftops on the Bolivar peninsula already too! I will be unreal come tomarrow!

k now their say between 8-10pm we will get tropical storm conditions then round midnight we get hurricane winds and from then on its hell.....they said the eye is comin right up our interstate , hey rigeldust its comin right up 45 be ready man...im a lil to the east of that which sux cuz the east side is the shit side

so.....sittin here on my patio and ikes approachin, bored as hell so ill probly be on here till we loose power lol got plenty of beer:mullet::banana2::mullet:. winds are pickin up to bout 20mph and shits blowin everywhere. probly be kissin my ass bye round 8am so uhh if the dak makes it through who wants it:huh: lol
