Hello RAM.........Landed me a sweet deal on a 08 Ram. Pretty much $12,000 off sticker.
Paid less for this than i did for my Dak. Went lookin for an 08 Dak, got a better deal.
Still love Dakotas though...Ive owned 3 of them.

Nice ride, its hard to pass up on the deals they are having. I got the same truck, but Electric blue. I love it, and it pulls my Dakota, Dodge pulling Dodge, its awesome, and the Hemi is great, bounces like hell...lol. It sits down pretty good on this 1/2 ton, with a '01 dakota cc on my 16ft trailer, when I hit bumps in hwy, it bounces the front up and down...lol..nothing a good pair of helper bags wouldn't fix. I landed at 14 grand off MSRP, but anything near 10grand off can't be past up.

You will love it! had mine 2 weeks tomorrow:D

Awesome deals they are having, but I'd pass on one of those for one of these....

Just arrived at the local dealer, and after looking at this thing- it blows away the competition. It really is going to be a segment changer.

Cool, will it run in the low low 20 range??? Got my '08 for 21grand:bump:, kinda knocks the '09 way out back for me:D. It kinda looks in the headlights, like the Fords, just drop that headlight down on the bumper. I never liked the deul exhaust either, out the back, now drop them under and I'm good. Its cab is too boxy, looks to have more headroom, could be imagineing things, but I have about 2ft, too much in my '08.

Dodge did good on the '09, I want to see one in person, and I may like it more, may even trade when they drop 14 grand off sticker.

You had better drop in, your still Dodge, and no one cares, I don't. I still drop in on the JK site, and say my opinions, and try to help. I traded my '07 JK Wrangler in for my Ram.

Open the door on an 09 and you'll wonder why you spent $20k on the lego blocked interior of the 08.

Plus- taking $14k off of MSRP makes your resale value next to nothing (trade in is probably $15k and wholesale is $17-18k).

I'll take the 09 for more $$$ since its worth it.

Ram interior beats my 04 dak layout hands down.

Some how i don't see the logic between paying more and getting more. What i pay is directly related to what i'll get in return.


Only my payments are gonna end up half of yours per month. I may be selling her for less but i payed less. Its a no brainer.:sorry:

We both got our Rams for the same reason(I think). I have my Dakota, its a 408, gets 12mpg, with no AC. This Ram has everything I need, it can pull, more roomy for kids(in the near future), and it is $20 more than my JK a month. On a truck thas 14 grand more, up to $600 a month range. I don't know about Moeman, but I'm shit outta luck on the buying a $35,000 truck. I'm a Firefighter, I don't bring home near enough to buy a truck that damn high, with the rebates on the '08's, I got into one. The interior is way worth 20grand, hands down. I believe my little 4.7 Dakota was right a 20 new.

Buy your '09 Ram, tell me about it, I don't hate it, but don't have the funds to pay sticker price on it, IMO, not worth waiting , and paying the price for something that has better interior. I can redo mine later if I want, IMO the Rams interior looks great, don't like the YES seats, ugly, and kinda stiff, but I'll keep them for now:D

Don't get me wrong ... Got a great deal, I'll worry bout the resale when i.m done drivin' it like i stole it. (cause i did.)

The 09's do look "upgraded". well fuckin duh.

Ya wanna rant- start an 09 ram thread. Stop pissin on my parade. Like was said... I've got other bills and comitments like family,mortgage and such. If it were not for rebates (witch went to the dealer, not my resale) I'd be one of the Gen 3 oldtimers.
