I am really considering keeping my truck after college now. Ill be "unlifting" and lowering it 2/3. So after graduation ill be getting the trans rebuilt (and beefed up a little) and then ill start working on the motor, headers, exhaust, higher ratio rockers or maybe a cam, v8 throttle body, 4.56 gears. and maybe like a 50-75 shot of the juice.... will i be in the real low 14's with that? What about if i found a blower for cheap instead of the nitrous, how hard is it to adapt to the 3.9 and would that plus the other things get me where i want to be
fun daily low 14's/high 13's out of a rc 3.9

im jealous!! i wish i knew more about these motors when i did the rebuild. i would have gone with a cam like yours!! oh well. mine is fine. ill probably end up supercharging this badboy sometime down the road after heads and porting out the intake mani.my lope sounds like a v8 with a camlol....i love my cam, and it pulls nicely, i think i just need to ditch the 20's and go back to some 17s or 18's and put in some 4.10's to have some real fun..
*edit* oh yeah, and then put on the n2o kit i have in the garage, and click off some low 13's or maybe even 12's??

nah, leave the 20's, go with 4.56 & LSD and your good to go.my lope sounds like a v8 with a cam

that may be a possibility one day, i may be putting them up after while for trade plus $$.....although im more interested in finding some 18's though.....mike, how heavy are those wheels on your truck? pm/email me some pics of them, and how much they weight and stuff.....later!

with the billet 48mm F&B throttle body i have up for $200 you'll go quicker than stock!

best i ever got was 10.65 @65mph, if i remember correctly my dyno was 146hp & 220tq on a dynojet dyno, mods were CAI, v8 tb, slight intake manifold work, superchips, flowmaster 40, msd blaster coil, 8mm wires, 3924 autolite spark plugs, shift kit.

i bought it from a guy that bought it from greg (aka haulndak). It was a custom grind, its a comp cams cam. if you want the cam sheet let me know, i have it somewhere
