In the coming weeks I will be attempting to build this bumper. If I am happy with the results, I will build a few more for you guys. I don't know a time frame or a price for them yet. I can tell you they will not be $2000 like they are priced. Don't even know if I'll like it. I will post pics of my progress. This will not be a weekend build so be patient.

Just so you guys know, the bumper will not be exactly like this one. I will have to tweak it a bit. I can build mine like that but I can't sale it to anyone. Don't need any kind of lawsuit. Gonna try and get started this weekend but no promises. I will at least take my bumper off and check things out. Talked to the boss man about getting a plasma cutter and she likes the idea of me making some extra money, so you may benefit from that by me making more than I planned. I am also looking at making a rear bumper to match. I haven't planned on making this a winch bumper but will try my best to make it work. I don't have a winch laying around for a mock-up and don't plan on buying one anytime soon. If I start selling these they will come primed only. Not gonna offer any powder-coating or anything like that. Just a bumper ready for whatever. You can always Herculine it.
I was looking around at the prices for the Road Armor and Fab Fours bumpers and man are they expensive. Not set on the price but I am guessing about half of what they want.

Sorry to the guys who think I am gonna meet you somewhere. If you want one you can either come to me or I can ship them. Not gonna be driving all over the southwest to to deliver a bumper. Not sure why you think I would. Not trying to be a dick, but come on. Why would I drive over 400 miles to bring you a bumper. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Picked up a 4x8 sheet of 3/16 thick plate steel. I should be able to get at least 2 bumpers from this. That a lot of cutting with a damn reciprocating saw and a cutoff wheel.

I think he was meaning to share the costs of picking it up with another user, both are from CO, if their profile info is correct.

Can't wait to see what you turn out with.

I need to do that to mine, hell if you made the bumper for the right price I'd arrange to meet you in Alb. to get one.
I'm sure this guy is talking to me.

Ditto. For the right price I would too and we could split the cost on gas....
This fellow is talking to the other guy.

Get it straight before you speak.
