I'll try to add it to the calendar, and bring the big block dakota, as long as it's not broke.

I seem to have this cycle going...drive it, break it, fix it...drive it, break it, fix it...

just this past weekend, I drove it to pittsburgh and back, and half way between here and there in the middle of nowhere, my custom PS/AC braket broke, and my belt was slipping really bad. I limped along to a NAPA and managed to get the critical stuff going again with a much shorter belt and simply by-passed my PS pump...and I drove the truck around all weekend, and all the way back to Ohio without power steering!

right now I have 2 things to fix that I know of: the broken bracket, which is a quick weld job for someone with a TIG, and to put copper washers on the fittings for my hyd. throw out bearing--the damn "leak free" fittings have leaked since day one, I'll bleed the clutch line, and it'll be fine for a week or so of daily driving, then the pedal will go soft and need to be re-bled. I'm getting tired of this small seep/leak, and I'm about to put some copper washers on there and torque it to "Angry Gorilla tight" even though the book said "gaskets, washers, sealants or excessive torque is not needed for these fittings"
