Something is broke..

Can someone please tell me what this is broken and how safe it is to be driving around town in it? I no longer drive the truck and havent for well over a year. My dad drives it now and the way he thinks is, if it still drives dont fix it. Since my car went in the shop yesterday i had to drive the Dakota and noticed a really bad sound from the right front tire. And this is what i saw when i looked under it. I dont know what to do, i dont have any money to fix it right now. Not till after xmas anyways.
Unless its something easy to do, i have a friend that could do it for me. Please let me know guys, Thanks...

thats the front end sway bar link, from what im thinkin you can just remove the swaybar on the front if ya want but dont be flyin or speedin around any curves, but its ok to drive next to what i mentioned.

i dont think u have to remove the sway bar, just unhook it from the other side

End links are cheap and fairly universal. I've seen Energy Suspension poly ones in Pep Boys.

Hey thanks guys, I called around and found Advance Auto Parts has the part for $24.. But I guess my dad doesnt like to listen to what I have to say. He has decided to take it off on his own ( dont know what hes doing) and was bitching at me when I said I could have a friend fix it for free. So who knows, I guess the truck will be crap now.
