Just received my r/t back from the shop with the addition of 4.56 gears. I have got to honestly tell you that if there is any HESITATION out there between choosing between 4.10's and the 4.56's from the stock 3.92's GO with the 4.56's. I was expecting to have it rev harder actually, Not bad at all I thought with our tranny. I have not romped on it yet because I am trying to break them in correctly (Dammit) but to me it seems like there is a difference but NOT a great difference (that everyone is afraid to make the switch) . It still kinda feels like the stock gears but with the added torque, Nice edition. Granted this truck will be used on the weekends and some strip use (unlike a daily driver) but I will stress this, I could have went even LOWER like the 4.88's. I have a little noise back there but I hope it will fade out as I get some milage on her and the true-trax broken in. Tell me what you guys think when you get your gears installed from the group buy.

I get sick of highway driving with them sometimes. at 75 mph the rpms are at 3500. Gets annoying after awhile because you want them to be down. But man are they fun. I had the transgo shift kit done at the same time and that was a fun combination. feels very different. Enjoy them!!!

They might not be the best if you intend to do a lot of highway driving, but if you can contend with 75mph or less, they are fine. But for the get up and go, they kick ass!! Not to mention they tend to knock off closed to .5 in the qtr:)

just wait till you get to punch it, youll see, haha. glad you like them my friend!

Also depends on your tire, and you arn't going to be running a monster sidewall. 3.92 to 4.56 isn't any different then me going from 3.55 in my quad cab to 4.10's. I also had a 28 inch tall tire though, but still could feel some more pep, gas milage was better on the highway going about 75. 4.56's will just be spinning that much more:) You arn't building your truck to be an EPA friendly animal:) Stick with the 4.56's, and romp the shit out of it! They will only help you get into boost quicker espcially in the qtr mile!

If it makes you feel any better, I had a detroit locker sitting in my room for 2 months, only to place 2 orders and find the 4.56's were on back order. Then I blew the stock 360 and had to strap cash together to get the 408. I will be going with 4.56's though!

Welcome to the 4.56 club. Start saving for tires!!!!!!!!

I need to swap gears too, I lost alot of bottom end with the M1 and Big Tb. Thinking of 4:33 or 4:56 not sure yet.
I've never heard of 4.33 for Chrysler axles. (Or at all for that matter) it'd be a sweet gear.

I'm really tempted to throw some 4.56's in my Ram. With the 32" tires and heavy ass 20's, it could really use a boost... (Hmmm boost... LOL)

We just put 4:33's in my buddys race car. I haven't done any research on them for Dodge but will look into it here shortly and post a thread if there is one found.
if youve got the 9.25 axle, this is what available i found.

if thats the case, you really might want to think bought those 4:56 in the fs section from dapurplert,,,those sucker would bring your bottm end back in nicely.

Yukons are almost half that on ebay btw! I'd do 4.56s but I'm not sure if I'm going to change my 27" tall tire....The way my truck is set up I really have a 4.07 rear end, 3.92 with 28" tires. So, 4.10s would be a 4.25, which would be between 4.10/4.56...so not sure what to do.

i know what you mean...i have 3.55's with a 26" tire which makes it a 3.97....and i am going to go with 4.10's which will bump it close to a 4.56

Anybody have any input/experiance as to how a V6 Would react with these gears?
