Hello from NC

Hi all. Just picked up a silver 2001 Durango R/T today. This is the second R/T I have owned. First was a 2000 Dakota. It has no mods yet. Any suggestions for first mod? I was thinking maybe throttle body spacer and K&N or similar system.

If it wasn't raining, I would have gotten some pics. Hopefully tomorrow.

skip the throttlebody spacer it does nothing for our trucks

I say CAI and exhaust first

and remove the clutch fan assuming you have the factory electric fan also

where in NC?

Welcome to the site from another Carolinian! I agree. Ditch the clutch fan. Intake and exhaust first. The throttle body spacer is nothing more than a paper weight. Next invest in a Superchip programmer, well worth the money!

tb spacers are junk so ill be another carolinian to say leave it off,assville here,, whats happenin..

Welcome to the Site! Always good to have another NC truck on board. You got some good advice on the first mods already and as far as the TB spacer, don't waste your money!! What part of NC are you from?

Thanks again everyone. Redwaggin, I was looking at the site you provided. I'm thinking I'm gonna try to go to the Mopar Summer Nationals. The Coca Cola 600 is here that weekend and I live 5 minutes from the speedway (can't wait til their new drag strip opens this summer/fall :D) so I think I wanna get away from here.
