ok, so I've seen some turbo daks, and some supercharged daks....

I've heard turbo is better, and easier to deal with. I've decided to build my motor to turbo, my question is....... besides having a fully built motor, what do you need to do to install the turbo, and what kind of hardware and shit do you need to install and run it properly???

I know you need the the intercooler, piping and the snail itself.... but what else?

And if I should change my mind and go supercharged..... what would I need for that?

Wastegate, BOV, oil lines, silicone couplers(dont go cheap or they will rip or blow apart), scavenger pump(unless you go with gravity fed) for the oil return, larger injectors, some way to control timing and fuel such as FMU and BTM or you can go with SCT(you'll need a 2 BAR MAP with this) or some sort of piggyback computer(SMT6 or FTC1).. You're going to need some way to monitor this (Wideband AFR gauge, boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge)... Need to figure out how your going to run your piping and access to a welder if you plan on doing this yourself..

Most importantly your going to need lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

IM sure there is alot that I forgot but its 2 AM and im tired.. your best bet would be to do plenty of research before you attempt to boost your truck...

Best of luck to you pal
