you can. it's a bit more work. you're trying to join fiberglass and metal. those two arent usually joined.

if you're going through the trouble/effort of molding a pan, just go buy a good metal one. and make sure you have it undercoated or bedlined BEFORE you put it on. and also, make sure you use a type that does not dissipate AFTER the heat of welding

The reason for the question is that the body kit that whoever sells, the one that looks like the stampede, the roll pan is part of it. It flows with the skirts. I really don't want a fiberglass one. I know steel is the way to go for molding. I was just wondering if it could be done.

i saw this huge lifted ford for sale... had a fiberglass pan molded in.... the seems where he molded it were coming apart and it looked like shit!
