so i was cruising tonite, going to pick up a hot mamasita for a little dinner, and i pulled up next to an X-Runner. i was stoked! after a few attempts of getting him to run me, i gave up and blasted off. so i was cruising on and came up on a drop top fox body with a couple of dudes in it, so i went by him, then traffic stopped. he was in the right hand turn lane, and he did a total ricer rev-by when he went, so i said oh no you dont!! i jumped over and chased after him. he seen me coming and slowed down, and i pulled up on the side of him and we had our first dig from about 25. i pulled his ass good! then we made a right and went from a stop on a three honk down this street, i launched perfectly and got out on him good, he spun worse than me off the get. we turned again and went one more time from about 25 or so, and i still pulled his ass. after that i pulled up on side of him, gave a little wave and bounced out. racing is fun. :drive:

- Fair race? Theres been some discussion on this site on the XRunners. Stock for stock they take the RTs. So thats not really a fair race either, more of just Norcal looking for some fun. Them fox bodies aint no joke, my buddy has one (hes on this site actually). Besides 4.10s its stock and it runs low 14s with over 100k miles on street tires. RTs run mid 14s - mid 15s depending on driver and cab configuration. So that doesnt really seem like a fair race either, more so the truck being the underdog..especially being stock. I mean c'mon..its a mustang. Most people consider those a "sports car" or "high performance car" and we're all running in a pickup truck...its usually never a fair race. Only thing is...we are at the disadvantage.

Not really sure whats sad about that. :huh: I ran a fox with "a couple dudes in it" or "packed full of people" (however you wanna look at it) in my truck (before the supercharger, just headers/exhaust) but I guess thats just me picking on somebody, looking for an unfair race.
