What are you 4.7 daks running in the 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile and with what modifications? Also, auto or stick?
I thought Duner swapped the turbo 4.7 for a 5.9I'm not what you're looking for since I've only done a 16.0 :funny: I'm more into curvy roads. Moparz was running low 14's with his 4.7 auto at the R/T Nationals in St. Louis. The fastest 4.7 I ever heard of was Duner's GenIII CC with turbo and NV3500 running 12.4 sec./ 1/4 mi.
I thought he still had both, but I'm honestly not sure:huh:I thought Duner swapped the turbo 4.7 for a 5.9
I actually was running low 15's but it was also about 2,000* at the trackI'm not what you're looking for since I've only done a 16.0 :funny: I'm more into curvy roads. Moparz was running mid 14's with his 4.7 auto CC at the R/T Nationals in St. Louis. The fastest 4.7 I ever heard of was Duner's GenIII CC with turbo and NV3500 running 12.4 sec./ 1/4 mi.
Hey, Steve  Yeah, he blew up the 4.7 some time ago. His 4.7 turbo exploits are ancient historyI thought Duner swapped the turbo 4.7 for a 5.9
The coolest engine temp I ran with was 200 degrees; an oven for sure. I had a 500 mile trip home, so I didn't spank the Dak too much.I actually was running low 15's but it was also about 2,000* at the track
:mullet:...and the Civil War ended in 1865he is only making this thread because someone on a another forum said that the 4.7 was faster than the R/T
you would have made it home sooner if you would have won the NX kit that is on the R/T nowThe coolest engine temp I ran with was 200 degrees; an oven for sure. I had a 500 mile trip home, so I didn't spank the Dak too much.
that works for me.lol... it's like a never ending debate... why can't we just leave it at both trucks are quick... b/c neither are fast...but then again the wording is a little subjective I guess. Still... 4.7L can be fast, and R/T's can be fast as well... who cares.
Paul
ahah so truethat works for me.
I have both so I can play both sides :jester:
