Well, at least you recognize that the beam is shit due to the rebased HID bulb being in the wrong location and creating light in a much different manner.

But yeah, fuck what I say...I've got no proof that rebased HID's are illegal, or that the beam pattern is out of spec and wouldn't pass a DOT inspection were one to be performed, or do I? Hmm ... http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46162

They look nice. Makes me want some HIDs. I just wish someone would come install them for me so I dont have to frick with it.
you act like it quantum physics or something...

only takes less than 2 hours. most of that is taking time mounting the brackets for the balasts

I dont honesty see a point... I swapped cars with my girlfriend and drove past eachother on a dark road last night to test this theory and honestly yeah there a little bright but not to the point where im completly blinded and going to wreck my car. Mine are angled down quite a bit though... the whole "glare" thing has been blown way out of proportion IMHO...

I'm waiting for those numbers. :D:wave::waiting:

For the headlights it took me no more than 30 minutes, from start to finish. I guess it depends on where you want to mount them though. I found a couple bolts inside the light wells and just bolted the ballasts up there.

It's really not that hard, if you can plug in a lamp and put it on a desk, you can do these.

it does all depend. also depends on the model truck i think too. i think the genII's are a little easier as far as where to place them. for me i mounted mine for the headlights right on the inner fender thingy, and for the fogs, i mounted the ballasts underneath on the inner fender as well.
