I took out the carpet in my truck today to run wire for my stereo. I found a plug with two wires coming to it. One black, and one grey with a red tracer. This isn't to be confused with the 12 volt plug for the console between the drivers and passenger seat. Heres a couple pictures.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

That should be the connector for power seats.

Thanks guys, you'd be surprised at what you find under your carpet. I found a yellow ribbin tied in a bow tucked under the carpet in the middle of the truck. I might get some power seats in the future, I know theres some green wires going into the front doors too I guess those were for power mirrors or something.

As a general rule, if power options were avaliable for your year model truck, then the connections are probably there because they only used one wiring harness when they built the truck.

AFAIK there are 2 harnesses.... 1 for no power options and another for power. So if you have power windows/locks.... you should have the connectors for power seats and mirrors. If they were available that year

My '00 came with just power locks, windows, and keyless entry, but didn't have the connector under the seat for the power seats. I had to run my own wires when I put the power seat rails from my '99 into my '00. But the connectors for the power mirrors were in the door for when I installed the power mirrors from my '99. Just had to switch up the wiring to match the '00.

So it seems there is a hole in my theory.....

my seatbelt plug is on the side pillar in my 2003. Once the wiring is done for my stereo I'll snap a bunch of pictures, I got the grommets today but lost the chuck key for my drill so I couldn't drill any holes.

Anyone found what those particular wire are used?
I'm thinking seat track position sensor for air bag system.
My issue is that I removed the seat without noticing those wire and the seat side wires came out of the connector. (seat side: white and black) I need to figure out which wire connect to which other color wires(as pictured, vehicle side).
