ive got 120,000 kms, want to know how long i can expect to get out of this engine. i use synthetic oil every 5,000 kms. whos got the highest mileage 4.7?

You should have plenty of life left. I've seen several with 200-300,000 miles still going strong.

Wife's has just over 160,000 kms or 100,000 miles.

Oh and mine has about 119,000 miles. Had the kenne bell on it for about 20,000 miles... Damn, I need to get working on logging to get the tune working 100% lol

Mine had 243k before the oil pump went out im sure if I would have swapped out the pump it would still be going But I just swapped motors

333K miles, still going

I bought my 2000 4.7 new (had 13 miles on it from the dealer). I just passed 333,333 miles, so I'm at 1/3 of a million! Quite proud. I haven't had any problems out of this truck and haven't had to do any repairs except a tranny rebuild, which was my fault. When the truck was about 2, I hopped in one night, cranked it up and started cutting doughnuts in the snow. Dumb, real dumb, so I snapped some bands and needed a rebuild. That rebuild lasted 9 years and I had to rebuild again 2 years or so ago. Other than that, nothing but oil changes, belts and a few hoses. Oh, I did replace the AC compressor a few years ago. Other than that,just normal wear and tear maintenance.
