Who will win in a race my 99 Dakota rt with a mild cam swap, stainless shorties, dual exhaust, 1.7 rockers, m1 4bl,electric fan, and a cold air kit or a bone stock 2009 mazda speed 3 with nothing more than a boost gauge put in it. cause i wanna put him in his place.

stock for stock, the mazda may get it, just on power to weight ratio.
But, the R/T has a cam, and some other mods.

Stock for stock that Mazdaspeed 3 has the win. It's got 265HP and 280ft-lbs of torque, a 14.1-14.4 sec 1/4 mile and a 0-60 under 6 seconds.
You should be good with your mods tho.

Too many variables to say for sure honestly, the drivers being the main one. Just race him, if you lose big deal... I doubt its some high stakes race. If you win then awesome! Chalk up another unsuspected win for the pickup trucks.

itll be close. my cousin has a mazda 6 speed n its fast as shit for a stock, somewhat cheap priced vehicle.

My money is definitely on the Mazda. A mild cam with ebay headers and duals with a 4 barrel intake? Wow, first off...what a combo. Even with an SCT tune and sticky tires I'd bet money on the Mazda to anything over 90mph.
I want a Mazdaspeed 6. My old lady had a Mazda 6, those are nice cars!

Not in the Speed3, those are FWD only along with manual only. The MazdaSpeed6 is AWD and manual and will spank a Dak R/T.speeds are stick and awd to my knowledge.:waiting:
