I have a 2002 Durango and a 99 Ram 2500 with a Cummins.
Good choice.
With the weight of the ISB 5.9 Cummins and what it does to the ram front end, you would have to come up with a much better steering / susp setup than what you have in the durango. I would think 3.9 to be ok though.
