I have heard from a number of guys on here and different forums with 4.7s about removing the 3rd cat. My 02 Durango with the 4.7 has only 1 cat. Exhaust comes straight out the stock manifolds into a y-pipe, then into 1 cat and then into 1 muffler and into 1 tip. Is that a "Dakota Only" thing? Also Does anybody know if there is any way to trick the computer without using a cat simulator? 100 bucks is alot just to be able to remove the cat without thowing codes. Any help is appreciated.
