I am having a hard time figuring out what I want first. Should I re-gear both axles to re-gain lost power or install headers/exhaust and superchips programer to make more power. I think both will cost about the same. I only ask cause I am out of mod money after this.

A full exhaust might only cost at minimum $500 but it might not last as long.
Gear swap for both axles will give you back some of the lost power, and your right about the cost, your still looking at a minimum $1000 for properly setting up the gears for both axles.
