Have an '01 dakota 4.7 4x4 fixing issues with it...found this plug it's green 2 prong passenger side I do not see any place it could plug into or even reach 2 plug into something

It looks like the connector for the low pressure switch that is usually mounted on the accumulator/dryer. Yet I see no pressure port...

I think dodge knows I'm OCD and put it there wrapped in wire protector with a bunch of other ones just 2 see how far us OCD ppl will go 2 unravel them! NOT TODAY DODGE NOT TODAY! LOL or the other option is ur right but I like 2 think there's some twisted person on the dodge blueprint that 1 day started laughing Mwhahaha hence why there's a plug 2 nothing! I would apologize 4 this comment but it would b a lie and I blame it on not having coffee yet

I think i recall it being for the ambient air temperature sensor if you have the overheard display in the cab.
In my 99 that is behind the grill.
