im thinking something might be wrong with my durango because it just doent even have the power it did a couple months ago, it used to walk away from my dads truck with the 7.3 in it and he has 3.73 gears and just an exaust. i really want to put 3.92s or 4.10s in the durango

dont go higher than 3.83 unless your putting in bigger tires. You will be running 3-4k rpm if you put higher than that at 60mph. I would do a complete tune up, intake and exhaust, and retune the computer for that kick

Theres nothing quite like the look of astonishment on a mustang 5.0 drivers face when he catches back up to you at the next light, realizing he just got his as handed to him by a 6,300 lb snarling fire breathing suv.
Another really memorable kill was an old vette stingray, dude has a sticker on the back window "Eats Ford's, Shits Dodges" I give her a little roar at the light and drop into 1st, he looks over and chuckles so sure of himself. light changes and my rear end starts dumping smoke, by the time i can see whats behind me i've got him by about 4 truck lengths. So much for his overweight under powered p.o.s chev.

Last Saturday I was out and about with the '03 dakota just enjoying my truck and a short drive. Put on about 35 miles just to drive it ya know. So I drove it a little in my town made a couple stops then jumped on the highway because I absolutely love hearing the exhaust at 80mph and the feeling going from 25 WOT to 80 before letting up. I get to the next town north of me and I'm on this 55MPH 4 lane road. Get up to speed and this blacked out crown vic dual exhaust makes a u turn. I'm thinkin WTF but whatever. He eventually makes his way about a car lenght behind me in the right lane.

The light turns red and well yeah, he gives it a little rev then another one. I fire one back at him. I look around pretty good the whole time looking for any vehicle that could be the law. Nobody in sight. I see the other lights changing so I get the RPMs up to about 1200, poor mans stall is what I call it.

Light goes green we both launch. I look to my right and see him fading to the rear, 2nd gear hits with a decent tire scratch and he falls even farther back. 65 I get over and start slowing down. Dude follows me into the Harbor Freight parking lot, I'm thinking ruh roh!!

All he wanted to do was thank me for giving him his 1st ever ass kicking in that car of his.

We started comparing #'s to why he lost. My truck is rated at 235hp stock with the full exhaust, intake, and superchips tuner running the 91oct performance setting at the time we guestimated my HP to be right around 250, doubt not much higher then that. My truck weighs more then his car does but not by much plus I have 3.92 gears with LSD his car has stock gears with an open carrier.

His car does 239hp before drivetrain loss, but is lighter by 600ish pounds but his 2 300 pound friends made up that difference real quick lmao!

Yeah his car is quick, 15.5 in the quarter quick were my truck has done 14.9s but consistantly very low 15s.

All around it was a cool fun night no feelings were hurt lol. Had his car had the 5.0 in it, he would have beat me......maybe.

Dunno about that, my truck beat a 5.0 crown vic stock haha, they can be made quick but yeah, stock he was pretty close to me the whole race.

Tonight had a funny one, on my way home I am at a red light in the right lane. I see this superduty with some blue HID headlights coming up behind me and gets over in the left lane. Hes about to a stop when the light turns green. I was accelerating a little quick because I was drag ass tired and just wanted to shower. Anyways, I am at like 20mph when I hear his truck almost red lining and fly past me. It was a gasser, stock height and stock looking tires, some gay ass lights below the bumper, aftermarket tails but that looked to be about it. I see the light up the road is red and hes braking for it and I am just coasting now and just to fuck with him, light turns green and hes at a stop so I put it to the floor and flew past him at like 5k rpms. My buddy said he saw the dudes girl in the passengers seat jump when we went past (straight pipe on my truck, loud as hell WOT).

I wasnt really planning on racing him, I was more or less trying to make him realize the ricer fly by BS is stupid. But we both get to the next light at the same time. He revs it, I just look over and his girl looks over and looks away, dude driving the truck looks dead serious with his gay white frame sunglasses. Rich kid. He keeps revving it, I see the light for cross traffic turn yellow and no traffic coming so I start brake torquing and so does he, light turns green and I punched it. Tires squealed and we were neck and neck til I hit 2nd. I started pulling away and when I hit 3rd it was game over. I let off around 70 and he was a good truck length behind me and he stayed in it til he passed me.

Next light is red too and I rolled up and his gf is smiling at me and keeps looking at him and then at me but he wont look over. Now this intersection im at I have been pulled over twice at and there is always a cop at the furniture store parking lot up the street so I wasnt gonna race here. Light turns green and sure as shit the preppy douche floors it. I accelerated like normal and I saw the cherrys turn on and me and my buddy start laughing our asses off. Cop goes right for the superduty and I just pass him with the biggest shit eating grin. Best take down yet haha

Raced a Cummins on the interstate too, we were pretty even until we passed a cop going 100, then i slowed down and got off of the next exit but he just kept going. Never saw those blue lights though. We both got lucky haha.

Last weekend raced two, won two, buddys Maveric by 2 car lenghts and a tubbed s-10 drag truck by 1. This weekend raced two won two, I beat a 4.7 cc Dakota by 3 car lengths and a 318/5spd by 3 also, next weekend I'll have drag radials so I can call out some of the faster 12 sec guys, I might get lucky and win again, not buy 3 car lengths lol, but if I do it'll be very close run!
