I had to test out the new Meguiar's G110V2 DA polisher so why not on the truck? I started by wetsanding the whole drivers side with 2000 grit paper and followed by buffing with Meguiar's #205. Great results and this is one of the best buffers I have used. Has 6 different speeds for waxing/paint correction.

Personally I have not used it, but the two are very similar in terms of specs. The PC is a little cheaper though but not sure how it handles. The G110 is easy to use and won't bog down when with extreme pressure applied. Very solid machine though:

If you don't mind, what did it cost you?

The buffer itself is $150, but some detailing sites offer kits where you get three 2.0 pads, duffel bag, and sample bottle of compound for $170. Look up "auto detailing solutions." They are a full meguiar's carrier and stock their whole professional line of products.

Thanks! I'm working on it lol Going to try and get some more light stands tonight so I can see a little better. I think it's the warmer weather that makes me want to work on the truck lol

Wetsanding removes clear from the paint. I have enough clear that i could wetsand another dozen times before the clear would start to fade. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it but takes some patience to look right. I only wetsanded again to remove more orange peel from my paint so it looks better. Most factory sprayed clearcoat is only around 2mils thick and a proper wetsand will removed about 0.3-0.5mils.

When I start the other side i'll take some more pictures to explain the whole process.
