Anyone know if the Dodge Viper calipers are a direct fit onto the Dakota rotors?

No. You need a caliper/adapter bracket and the hubs have to be machined to fit the Viper rotors.

what if you get the adapters but get oversized rotors from somewhere else like Baer or SS brakes ?
