Since you are not really planning on racing your D, which is pretty much the only reason why you might NEED these brakes and you are basically running a stock motor with some mods but not nearly enough horsepower to get you up to a speed where you would need performance brakes, try this on for size. Get some slotted and drilled rotors and go with some nice calipers and paint them RED. You will get the Viper look without the price tag. Seems a little more worth it to me. This is something that I was throwing around in the back of my head for my rig.

Is it reasonable to paint the rear drums? Or am I just going to be wasting my time? I think that it would look pretty sweet to have my front calipers and my rear drums painted or powder coated candy red behind my silver rims. :chug:
