I am looking to get some vent visors. I have seen the inchannel ones and I am wondering how well they work and actually how they work. Are they a force fit or is there tape that holds them in the channel??? Please give me some info. Thanks

I think the in channel are tape and a little force fit, only get the in channel, i think they look better and if you want to take them off, you will not have that tape on your paint or door trim to deal with.

I am not a big fan of vent visors, but tho's EGR ones look damn good, if I ever got a set I would get them, the in channel look so much better.

Hey Mini,

I have the weathertech visors that 1pkraft was talking about... If you really want the option of having a vent visor, without having something stick out any farther or look like it doesn't belong on your truck.. then I'd say go with the Vent Visor... I have them.. and all of them are slimline, it looks sweet, and I never got a chance to take a picture of the door side, but it doesn't stick out at all.

The EGR's are a good brand, but the reason I didn't go with them is I believe they stick out too far.

Hope that helps!

Yeah.. so I was bored.. so there ya go... hope that might help influence you!!! The only thing that might deter you is that they are around $60 a pair... but trust me, well worth it. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll see if my hookup can get me any kind of a deal...

anyone use the rear window set for club cabs? according to the site posted above they are taped on. i'm sold on the weathertechs, just wondering if i should go for the whole set instead of just the doors. so any opinions posted on that would be appreciated
