I'm looking at used Durangos. How can I tell the axel-ratio and if the truck has a limited slip differential? Is it located ona sticker somewhere?

The glovebox sticker is on the 2000 and up. The 98's and 99's I have checked didn't have any information on the glovebox sticker. Did all 360 durangos with tow packages have the 3.92 rear?

A dealer can get you the info if you give them the Vin. On my 01 I think it might be on the glove box sticker, but just last night I noticed there was also a sticker wrapped around the rear axle that listed the gear ratio and trac-lock. This was right at the end of the axle tube on the driver's side.

And no, not all durangos with the 5.9 and tow package were 3.92s, mine is a 5.9, 2 wheel drive, tow package SLT+ and it has 3.55 w/trac-lock.
