I've got an 04 durango with the 5.7hemi..under the hood on the driver side is a grey male electrical plug intended for 110v sticking out... What's it for??

110V?? probably a block heater.

Yea, if it looks like the standard 3 blade US style extension cord plug you can plug into a 110v house outlet…. Its an engine block heater.
