I dunno, truck's being put on the back burner until the guy I really want to work on my truck is available. He's a mopar guy and is booked for another month! :jester:
Gonna make small payments on an economy car for now. Was gonna do this down the road anyway so I can have 2 cars when the Dak is under construction but I guess I have to do it sooner!

Timing chain maybe....?

It's a long shot but SOMETIMES a jumped tooth will do those kind of things. Idle ok and run ragged as hell. I haven't had a magnum down but there are some times the TDC mark is rotated when the dynamic balancer is old and rotates on the rubber between the inner and outer. Bring #1 to TDC with the plugs out and a dowel on the piston and see how close the mark is.

:sorry: I've had my share of drive you crazy problems, when you figure it out and it's all sweet, have a cold one and chalk it up to experience. :D

Project hasn't started yet, but it will soon! The motor began to run better after a 2 hour drive to San Diego Monday. Maybe the new valves and what not needed some miles on em? But there is a slight problem from over 1/4 - 3/4 open throttle. She runs LEAN. Like 16-17.0:1 LEAN. 1/4 throttle and less she runs good for part throttle (I think): 14.5 - 15.5:1. And at WOT she runs a little on the rich side for N/A: 12.0-13.0:1

Maybe she needs a little more miles for breaking in the new valves/rings?

Is it hurting my motor running her at 16.0-17.0:1 air fuel ratio at part throttle? all the way up to 3/4 throttle? It's strange man, as soon as you go full throttle, the fuel arrives. Down to 13-11.0:1 through the RPM band WOT. I just can't tell if all the power is there, i mean, she sounds nice
