Auto or manual? Also depends on what year 4.7, if it had the electric shift NV 233 the t-case won't work in place of the manual shift NV231. 3.9 used the 42RE auto and the 4.7 used the 45RFE or 545RFE. If it has the NV3500 5 speed std it will fit the V6, I have a NV3500 from a V6 behind my 02 4.7.
