Tranny swap??

Hey guess just a question I had on the top of my head. Does anyone have or know of anyone with a swap out from the 46re to an actual 727 torquflite??? Will it fit or will it just be a waste?? Would it just be cheaper to build up a 46 re?? Will it even work?? any info will be appriciated!
