I did a search to try and find this but I can’t. I’ve been looking for a replacement to one of these. 06035925AA The adjuster bolt for the torsion bar. Mine are both seized into the swivel. I found swivels and ordered them. I cannot find this bolt anywhere. Anyone have a lead on a replacement? Or specs on the bolt itself so I can hunt it down with fastenal or similar? I’m stuck on this until I can replace them. Any help would be appreciated.
A Goodyear tech snapped one of mine many years ago with an impact. I got away with a grade 8 hardware store bolt that stayed on there for the life of the car. It was the standard length (6" IIRC) but it worked fine. You want fully threaded, not partial. 5/8"-11 x 6" SAE J429 Grade 8 Yellow Zinc Finish Steel Tap Bolt | Fastenal They also have grade 5 for a lot less money.
Yesterday I picked up the same bolts. I finally found and ordered the anchor pins and ordered new keys. Now I have to locate new torsion bars. I want to have everything I need before I start. We all know that what we plan to do NEVER goes right!!😖.
Thanks for the reply
