Toggle switch on under side of steering column 2003 Dakota.

I bought a used 2003 Dodge Dakota and noticed a toggle switch on the under side of the steering column. Could anyone please tell me what it is for or is it something that someone added on their own?

You will have to trace the wire to see where it goes to. Someone added the switch.
