They have plastic guards you can buy, but you can always just spray away from the paint and work a lil bit harder on your wheels. I use Eagle 1 Extreme Shine or Meguires NXT tireshine (aerosol) They both work great. If you have white lettering or tires like mine, you may want to spray it down with Simple Green every few applications and scrub it, otherwise it gets really dirty and won't look very good. I've never had a problem with the stuff flingin off either...just let it dry. I also don't put very much on, a very thin coat is all you need.
