They have plastic guards you can buy, but you can always just spray away from the paint and work a lil bit harder on your wheels. I use Eagle 1 Extreme Shine or Meguires NXT tireshine (aerosol) They both work great. If you have white lettering or tires like mine, you may want to spray it down with Simple Green every few applications and scrub it, otherwise it gets really dirty and won't look very good. That's my .02

Yeah I tried about 10 different Brands and all of them throw it up on the paint. I might try Good 'Ol armour all and let it soak a couple of hours before I drive.

i used to use the turtlewax tire wax and that stuff was awesome...... untill my buddy hooked me up with the knowledge of zaino. theier whole line of products is awesome. i switched to thier tire shine cause of the look, long lasting-ness(if thats even a word, lol) and also it doesn`t sling everywhere. it`s a bit expensive but they have me sold for life.

on another note- some tire shine products leave a brownish residue after it wears off. this stuff doesn`t.

I use Turtle Wax tire wax it is a while gel and it goes on so nice and smells so good. it don't fling off if you let it sit for just a few. and it holds up real good.

I apply mine the night before the show, so it dries overnight, I dont have a problem that way with it flinging on the paint, however if it rains it will run onto the wheels.

I use eagle one wet shine tire shine.
