This thread is for people to post pictures and tips regarding powder coated parts. Powder coating your parts can greatly improve their appearance, and make them much easier to keep clean over the long term.
High temperature tape was used to mask off the surfaces that mate with the head, bolts, or other hardware - that way the powder doesn't interfere with the gaskets or crack once the bolts are cranked down. High-temp cone plugs were used to make sure the injector bosses are free of coating.
These are the shifter brackets I got back as sample pieces. Wanted to see how the green flecks looked. Decided to go with just wrinkle black. If I could have done the frame too, as well as all of the suspension, I would have been all over this.
