Anyone else get real annoyed when you want to crank the tunes on your truck and have the doors open, but that stupid door ajar sensor just keeps binging and binging and binging?

Well here is the answer... (Maybe this is a programmeable option, but I don't know how to shut it off so here's another way).

Take off the plastic kick guard on the bottom of the drivers door jamb (just pull it up). Then take off the kick panel kext to the emergency brake pedal.

You'll see some black box with three wiring harnesses. In the middle harness there are two wires for the driver and passenger door switches. The wire colors are:
DRIVER DOOR: TAN
PSSGR DOOR: TAN w/ Red

Verify this with a Voltmeter. The wires will be +12V with the door closed, and get's grounded out when the door switch opens.

So, I just clipped these two wires and put a dual pole switch in series and mounted the switch under the dash. (You'll want this on a switch otherwise your interior light won't come on anymore either when you open the door). So you just flip the switch when you need to stop the binging!

YAY!
