I just got my truck about two weeks ago and the previous owner (for some reason) took off the tailgate straps. I'm usually pretty good at finding the right parts for a good price, but nobody around me seems to carry new straps. The dealer wants $36 a piece (Canadian $). Anyone have an idea for me? I'm in Ontario, Canada.

I was thinking about going to the wreckers, just haven't had the time yet. But I did find some on Ebay and I think I'll order those. They are brand new OEM ones for $16US + $7 shipping a pair. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
