I own a '00 R/T. I've had nothing but problems with the suspension front and back. Took it to the dealer for 'repairs' in 2002. Now I notice that the darn thing is lower almost 2" on the driver side then the passenger side. Is this the "ball joint" problem or is it something else? Help!!

I own a '00 RT as well and have had problems with the sway bar bushings up front for a while now, it was squeaking badly over bumps, and the dealership replaced one bushing but not the other, and 2 weeks later the other bushing went out. Grrrr. Sounds like your problem is a little more serious though.

A ball joint problem would not effect ride height like that. more than likely is is something to do with the torsion bar (that effects ride height) or possibly bushings in the A-arm. I'd guess it's the torsion bar.

How does the vehicle drive?
