Does the rack have to be removed? Are they pressed in?

you'll need to remove the rack iirc, it shouldn't be difficult to remove and replace the bushings though.

Very simple to change, and yes the rack needs to be unbolted.
I don't recall it being difficult to remove the old ones, and the new slide right in.

You don't have to take the rack out of the truck. I just did mine. Just take the bolts out where it mounts to the cross member and it wil move enough to do it with out disconnecting anything else. Push the steel bushing out and then the old rubber. After I got the steel bushing out, I grabed the rubber with a pair of channel locks and twisted it and broke it loose. It takes a little work, but they will come out. Then just reverse everything. The mounting bolt have a pretty good torque on them. I can look after church tomorrow if you need it.

This would be a good time to go poly there. There's almost no flex, so it very rarely can be felt in driving - but very little <> almost zero flex *grins*

Thanks guys. I got some replacements from Napa. Will be doing them soon. Glad that rack doesn't need to come out.
