I am on the fence... I have had (and fixed) one problem withe my 02 Durango 5.9. It had a faulty fuel pump, and it was always a lot of cranking on the starter to get fired up. Now I fixed that-(and it is totally solid now-thanks guys!), but now my starter has been acting spooky. I turn the key and the starter gives me a real slow half turn (rrrew). it will do this a time or two or three, and then will just act perfectly normal and light right up exactly as designed.
Whaddaya think? Starter or battery?
Is starter remove/replace a whore? The fuel pump job was cake!
Thanks

sounds easy enough. I'll pull the starter and battery out and run them over to my local Autozone....
Will report

Be careful taking the wires off of the starter! The starter was designed very poorly and the posts have a habit of snapping off...
