Truck is a 2000 Dakota 2wd. I currently have some 2" lift coil spring spacers under the coils. No problems, they worked out well, also fit good. I am now wanting more lift to level out the front and to clear bigger tires. My question is:

-Is it safe to run a 3" lift spacer with the stock lower control arms? The spacers come in 2" 2.5" and 3" sizes. Id hate to go up to the 2.5" and not be satisfied with the lift height.

Thanks. -Ryan

The thickness between the 2" and 3" spacers i would assume be no more than 1/2", prolly less. If anyone has any input let me know asap! Just needing to know if the control arm angle will be 2 much. Will put them on order tomorrow if they will work. Getting ready to tear down the front suspension to replace lower balljoints. Thanks -Ryan

Did your dakota ride fine? I just put 3 inch spring spacers and it is awful. My control arm is on my bump stop. Did you have to do any modifications to the control arm when you had the 2 inch on it?
