what sick fuck is paid to invent this shit?!?! Im no democrat, I own several guns but I gotta say the sick-bastards that come up with this shit deserve nothing more than Hell. who the hell wakes up in the morning and says "hmm.. I think I'll find an easier way to kill people today" ?

Just about anyone employed to build weapons for the military. Just like the guy who invented your guns. Just like the guy who invented the first bomb? It's just a tool like anything else, just takes the wrong people to corrupt it.

Screening is not a foolproof system and is mainly to make the normal flying public feel safer since they know everybody has to go thru the same irritating process. Nobody bothers to screen Pedro Hernandez who cleans the planes or backs the catering truck up to the side of the plane to load all of the food and drinks onboard. Pedro drives his car thru the side gate to the airport and neither him nor his car are screened before being allowed to walk right up to get on the plane. If Pedro is actually Mohammed and that case of Pepsi is actually something else? Or he could just put a lighter on board for Ahmed or Rafi to use later, you know.... to light their underwear.
It's the illusion of security that keeps people boarding planes.
Agreed...Googling for porn is one thing, Googling on how to make bombs is another...We're watched....Google keeps records for 90 days I think .

i just googled binary explosive, and clicked on the wikipedia link. i didn't want any more attention, so i didn't refine my search or click on any more links.
then i came here to see the posts. i would also advise against googling for this stuff to others. with that said, i think it's pretty cool the way technology is moving along and new things are being discovered all the time. however, just like absolutely any tool, or technological advance: there is always some douchebag using it for harmful intent. you can't look at things in that way.
the guy who invented dynamite got a nobel prize for it! knives are an amazing tool, yet how many people are robbed or stabbed with a knife compared to how many people use knives? guns have killed many people, but how many people own guns that don't kill people? how many people own guns to protect the people who don't have guns?
it's all on perspective, and it's safe to say that any new advance is a good thing "overall" even though some fuckface turns it around and hurts people with it.

Spot on. Things haven't stayed relatively quiet up there because of screening, they've stayed that way because only a couple of stupid, slow, uncooridinated individuals have attempted anything and have gotten beaten down by passengers who know they have nothing to loose at that point.
