So, the Durango is back on the road

Put the new batt in and drove the Durango today for the first time in about 6 months (since my father got sick). Put some gas in it, went all over the place, and noticed the temp gauge never went above 130 degrees all day. Go figure. Also got an average of 14mpg. On the highway I could do a steady 17-21mpg but around town 2-7mpg was about it.

What the hell is going on? When it overheated the last time, I put in a 180 tstat and a new waterpump. Then in the summer it was running hot so I put the R/Ts clutch fan on it. Now I think I'm going to take the clutch fan off of it for the winter since it seems to be overkill.

This damn truck runs cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Anyway, going to be putting all new shocks on it and giving everything a check up this weekend. Also want to get some 6" fogs for the front and 4" fogs for the back. Since most of you last seen it, it's lost the Keystone hood and Cervinis front bumper and gotten a SP front bumper. Also went higher to 2" drop all around.

Going to get it ready for some snow fun this year while the R/T is away. Also want to attempt to squeeze a bit more MPGs out of it and run better. Any other input on what I should check/replace?
