under normal acceleration the engine performs well, but if i floor it off the line, it seems sluggish almost as if its flooding out. Could this be related to the TPS or another component. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this something new? My truck's kind of a dog when you mat the gas--I think it's the factory tune.

its running a rich. at 80%+ open throttle the injectors are 100% open. you wont be moving enough air at that point in time so it will feel a lil sluggish, if you stomp it off the line. could try a new tps sensor but a different aircleaner could also help

well i have a K&N Intake and i have tuned the TPS to .76 at key on/engine off. Is .76 to high of a setting or am i still not flowing enough air?

well its also a stock automatic. not really a race trans so thats part of the sluggishness as well

while were on the topic of transmissions, i will be installing a reman 46rh tranny, what are some the better things to perform to the tranny?
