Where are you located at? There's a group of us that are going to a Mopar dragrace on September the 20th in Sallisaw,Ok if your close come and join the fun.

I'm in arkansas! lol There are alot of happy dak owners in arkansas but not that many are online. So whats up? Are you just seeing who's on or do you have plans for a meet or something?

i dont live there anymore, but i grew up in jonesboro, lived there from when i was 2 till i was 18. i had a dakota back then too, lol, just never knew anybody else around with one

i feel the same way. i see dakotas all the time just never hear from anyone on here in my area.

Cool! I'm from Texas, but I have a question for you. Is George Ray still alive and well? Is his track still open?

Not sure how he is doing. Never met the guy but i have a friend that races at his track and has told me alot about him. He even rode down the track with George driving. here is his number to find out- (870) 236-8247
as for dakotas and durangos in arkansas, i also see them everywhere. some are tricked out nicely. yesterday i was on my way home and stopped to talk to the guy that owns the only other dakota r/t in my town. seemed pretty cool. im gonna try to get him on this site.

I was hoping the guy from Paragould would chime in, since that's where the track is. I don't want to bother with calling Georges house, unless I was about to drive out there.

im pretty sure but not positive george is still kickin. I do know his track is definatly still up and running. thats an every sunday thing here in town is going to george rays

Thanks for the info, I'm glad it still open! How come y'all don't have a mini meet there?
I want to make the trip out there some day and I know it will have to be soon, as old as he's getting. I'll bet the track will close, if he passes away.

Iam new here but not to Ark. I live in Alexander (LR area). I drive a 89 Shelby Dakota with a 408 stroker . I run at greenbrier and centerville. will be at centerville for their MOPAR days . i think in june. I just go a couple times a year.

Like i said i dont go very much to the drags anymore, maybe two or three times a year.So I dont know what everone is running but i think your right most are 2 wd.

Im running a 4.7 4x4. Pretty fast but probably not as fast as you guys. Keeps me happy by beating chevy's and them lil rice burners.

Yea I think Ark. is chevy country.We do have fun beating them dont we.Watch for the june race at centerville. its a Mopar show and race. Kinda fun.
