So I've got a 96 Dakota with bench seats, sweet little truck, but I'm not exceedingly fond of the seats. I like the option to have a 3rd person, but would prefer an armrest. anyone know if its too difficult to swap in a ram's 40/20/40 seats with the folding middle? Or if they made Dakotas with those seats? I'm fixing it as my daily, while the GT in my pfp is gonna be my toy project, so id really like to make sure the Dakota is exactly how I want it. They did make Dakotas in that year with buckets, I’ve seen them in junkyards. I would think the ram seats would be to big but I’m not sure. I just put buckets from a 2000 Dakota in my 96. The 2 bolts closest to the door lined up, the inside rear bolt needed a hole drilled and the front inside needs bracket made and welded to the floor. I’m sure you could bolt a bracket in if you don’t weld. I also remember cutting the pins off the seat tracks too
