What's up everyone, just want to say just got my first dodge an so far it's not looking good for the dodge review..lol. 03 dakota. 4.7 it's in limp mode, some how I reset it an it was for a good while then it went back to it.it doesn't say no bus no more. Is there anyway I can test the Pcm or tcm

Hey everyone,my thinking about selling my dodge already,only had it for about three months,I don't know How to get it out of limp mode, I'm thinking about getting a new speed sensors,an if that don't work,I'm done with this

It was at first but I reset everything an it's off but still in limp mode.I'm if I ruined the transmission or what,it still has pick up when I take off.it just doesn't want to get out of second...

Doesn't matter if the light is still on. Get AutoZone to read the codes.

Or better still, grab an ELM327 Bluetooth/OBDII adapter and a copy of Torque (Free at first; I'd pay for Pro - wait, that's what I DID! - but Free will do this) and query the ECU to see what it thinks is happening.

Ok I'll do that tomorrow,a couple of days ago,I did that self code thing and I had gotten like close to ten dam codes,like I said this is my first dodge,my friend had dodge ram an I had too put two transmissions in his truck.I'm hoping I don't have too do that to mine
