hey i jus moved to moreno valley bout 6 moths ago from vegas and have been struggling to find a descent job. was wondering if anyone in this area know of some good companies hiring.ive been to lots and lots of interviews and most were scams off craigslist.

at the moment im working at uhaul part time and they dont offer full time so im looking for another job thats full time
im 29 yrs old and im very capable of looking for jobs but its tight here and im using every option, including asking here

would make it worth your while if i land a good gig with jus a word of mouth from someone, ex.-hids, custom grille, led tail lights, free in and out detail with buff and wax, or whatever

thanks for any help:thankyou:

Cali is not the place to come to if your looking for work, it's real hard to find anything steady out here, best bet is general contracting work or you can look into companies that are flipping repo's. You might want to throw up some of your qualifications to give people a better idea on what your looking for, I work in construction and that's the reason I gave out those idea's! Good luck!!!

yea u guess that would help lol. i know its rough out here but i guess im jus looking for any thing full time with a stable company
my qualification range all over
-everything construction, interior, exterior, and demolition
-firefighting for the navy
-some auto body and paint and full interior/exterior detailing including buff and wax
-custodial
-prep cook, kitchen helper
-warehouse work
-sold cars at a dodge dealership
so no qualifications really but lots of good experience in these fields

Why not hit up the dealerships in the area, there are a ton of them! Advertise mobil detailing if your good at it and apply for Cal fire! Also, since you have construction knowledge, hit up the REO companies! Even apply at Walmart as a stocker at those crazy hrs in the morning, at least it will get you money coming in!

ive been on the roll for alot of those commercial companies like walmart and target exc. and my neighbor is a firefighter and the riverside county isnt hiring right now plus i need money for school and dont qualify for grants since im not a resident yet.
and most of my off-shore shipboard qualifications dont transfer to on-shore buildingsand construction seems pretty slow here and alot of family owned companies so i would have to know someone to get into that.
ive used lots of hiring agencies but no luck
im looking and applying everyday that i have off and some of these apps are lond and tedious. my uhaul app took 3 hours and that was going quick

A lot of big companies take applications only on-line these days, so apply everywhere. My son got a job at Home Depot back in '06 that way. Same with the teaching job he has now. Lots of industry in/around Riverside.

I used to live in Moreno Valley, a new huge Sketchers wherehouse just opened off the 60 fwy. Also try Costco, and Sams club they have good benefits. I also worked at the Morongo Casino. easy $ there and they are open 24 hrs a day.

Hey, Topless! Are you still looking for work? Try applying at the VA hospital in Loma Linda. They hire vets with any kind of work experience and if/when you get hired, they'll help pay for additional vocational training. Check it out. They want to help vets.
