Hi,i just had a similar problem with my 03 dak 4.7 . after changing filters and fluid it would throw itself out of gear and a few other strange things I had to get truck scanned to relearn transmission to stay in gear and shift right also showed no codes hope this helps
Replaced transmission filters and solenoid and now 04 Dakota wont crank.
I changed both filters, put in new solenoid and replaced the fluid and gasket and now I cant get the truck to crank, it is as if the truck is stuck in another gear and wont allow me to turn it over. I can move the gear shift into park and neutral but it doesn't show on the dash and shows that the truck is in low drive 1st. I tested the fluid amount and it says it is in the cold. I even ran the engine codes and it says there are no problems now when before I had a P0700 and 0750. Not sure what to do at this juncture.
