Is there a repair plate to repair frame where the two frames bolt together above the rear axle housing on a 2000 dakota 4wd? Thank You !

Outer frame rusted where water got in between the two frames.

ouch. I have a rear frame from a 2004 quad cab I have turned into a trailer that might work to replace it. I don't know where abouts you live I'm in Montana.
